Job summary

Sun Chemical in Maumee, OH is seeking a Production Operator to produce high quality inks by following batch tickets and learning the production machinery. The role focuses on on-time, safe, and accurate manufacturing.

You will perform gathering, weighing, and packaging; troubleshoot equipment; maintain clean facilities; and document processes. This position requires a High School diploma, the ability to lift 55 lbs, and the ability to work the 2nd shift (3:00–11:30 pm, Monday–Friday).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 55 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform gathering, weighing, and packaging duties for different equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide input to supervision/management.
• Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping and participate in 5S activities.
• Adhere to Quality Management System guidelines and document work accurately.
• Assist coworkers and promote a team environment with effective communication.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision or management.
