Job summary

DecoPac, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Mixer in Fife, WA for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM). The role involves setting up and operating mixing equipment, measuring ingredients, preparing ink labels with PMS color, and completing batch and ink worksheets.

Candidates must be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain logs. DecoPac offers entry into a production environment with comprehensive duties.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate good visual acuity to distinguish between details and colors.
• Demonstrate good organization skills to collect and assemble ingredients, coordinate timetables and schedule work assignments with co-workers.
• Must be able to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
• Written communications to make entries on production lists, mixing sheets and ink worksheets.
• Accurate computation skills to measure ingredients using scales.
• Good problem-solving skills and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend materials.
• Measure dry and liquid ingredients.
• Prepare ink for production floor labels with ink name and PMS color.
• Complete ink worksheets and batch worksheets.
• Perform quality checks prior to moving colors from kettles.
• Maintain adequate supplies of colors and ingredients on the production floor.
• Clean equipment and the mixing room; keep logs with lot numbers and dates.
