Job summary

DecoPac, Inc. in Fife, WA, is seeking a Mixer to set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend materials such as liquids, color pigments, or ingredients.

This full-time role on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) offers a salary of $19.00–$22.00 per hour and benefits after meeting full-time hours. Responsibilities include measuring ingredients, preparing ink for production floor labels, performing quality checks, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate good visual acuity to distinguish details and colors.
• Demonstrate strong organization to collect ingredients and coordinate timetables.
• Must follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Written communications to record production entries and ink worksheets.
• Accurate computation to measure ingredients with scales.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend mixers to blend materials and colors.
• Prepare and measure ingredients and inks for production labels.
• Perform quality checks before transferring colors to containers.
• Maintain batch worksheets and lot-tracking records.
• Ensure adequate supplies of colors and ingredients on the floor.
• Clean equipment and mixing room as needed and maintain work areas.
