Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation in Morrisville, NC is seeking an Ink Inplant TechTrainee to support color matching and small batch blending on-site at customer locations. You will produce and QC inks, keeping detailed records, and assist with processing tasks under supervision.

This first-shift role requires basic MS Word/Excel skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and physical capability to lift up to 50 lb and stand long hours. Training opportunities and competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the day
• Able to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer's specifications.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• With support, identifies rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following standard procedures.
