Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking an Ink Inplant TechTrainee in Morrissville, NC to provide color matching and small batch blending on-site at customer locations.

Responsibilities include producing and QC inks to meet specifications, maintaining records, and identifying rework opportunities while following safety procedures. Strong interpersonal skills and basic MS Word/Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• This is a customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel preferred.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs throughout the day.
• Able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Identify rework opportunities based on batch tickets with guidance.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations on site.
• Move 500 lb. drums following standard procedures.
