Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking an Ink Inplant TechTrainee for Morrissville, NC to provide color matching and small batch blending support on-site at the customer location. First shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

You will produce and QC inks to meet specifications, maintain production and QC records, and collaborate with the team to identify rework opportunities while upholding safety and housekeeping. This is a customer-facing role with lifting requirements up to 50 lb.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal, customer-facing skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to meet or exceed specifications.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Identify rework opportunities from batch tickets.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb buckets and move 500 lb drums.
