Select Medical’s NovaCare Rehabilitation unit in Minnesota seeks a PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to support Life Fitness on-site in Owatonna. This part-time role blends ergonomics, education, and preventive programs to reduce injuries and promote wellbeing among employees.

The position offers flexible scheduling (2–3 mornings/week, 10–15 hours) with pay of $40–$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Minimum one year of experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention.

Overview

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team supporting Life Fitness on-site in Owatonna, MN. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, or individual of a similar background. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

This dynamic role integrates ergonomics, employee education and coaching, preventive exercise programs, early intervention strategies, and health and wellness services to reduce workplace injuries and enhance overall employee well-being.

Position: Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: 2104 Northdale Blvd Suite 100 Coon Rapids MN 55433 (on-site in Owatonna, MN)

Type of Employment:Part-time

Schedule: Weekdays, 10-15 hours per week, 2-3 mornings per week

Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00, hourly based on years of experience
