NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to support Life Fitness on-site in Owatonna, MN. This role is ideal for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, or related background, with a flexible schedule that aligns with coverage needs.

Part-time position offering 10-15 hours weekly, mornings, with compensation of $40–$50 per hour, based on experience. You will perform ergonomic assessments, deliver education, and help prevent injuries across diverse employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Minimum one year of related experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits.
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs.
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury.
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees.
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics.

Type of Employment:

Schedule:

Weekdays, 10-15 hours per week, 2-3 mornings per week

Compensation:

$40.00 - $50.00, hourly based on years of experience
