NovaCare Rehabilitation seeks a part-time Injury Prevention Specialist to support Life Fitness on-site in Owatonna, MN. This role pairs ergonomics, education and coaching to reduce workplace injuries and improve employee well-being.

The position focuses on preventive programs, early intervention and health and wellness services, with a flexible weekday schedule and an hourly compensation of $35.00–$45.00 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Minimum of one year of experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits.
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs.
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury.
• Provide early symptom intervention care for employees.
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics.

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team supporting Life Fitness on-site in Owatonna, MN. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, or individual of a similar background. This dynamic role integrates ergonomics, employee education and coaching, preventive exercise programs, early intervention strategies, and health and wellness services to reduce workplace injuries and enhance overall employee well-being.
