The CSKT Tribal Health Department is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist for a 5-year grant-funded position in Saint Ignatius. The role requires managing injury prevention programs and working with community health initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience. Salary is competitive, ranging from $25.31 to $31.25 per hour, plus benefits.
TRIBAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Successful applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following education/experience combinations:
Current CPR certification (or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire) and HIPAA certification (within 90 days of hire) are required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel.
Subject to background check under Public Law 101‑630, all applicants must submit a Tribal application, a copy of academic transcript or training certificates, licensure documents, a copy of a valid driver’s license, proof of enrollment in a federally recognized tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veterans preference, a copy of DD‑214.
This position is a Testing Designated Position within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy and is subject to random drug testing. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the tribes, must pass a pre‑hire drug test and serve a mandatory six‑month probationary period. Must pass a background and suitability check according to Public Law 101‑630, the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act.
Salary is $25.31–$31.25 per hour, plus benefits. Will be employed under contract.
