Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a full-time Injury Prevention Specialist / Athletic Trainer to join our team at a leading medical device company on-site. The role combines ergonomics, education, coaching, and preventive exercise programs to reduce workplace injuries and improve employee well-being.

The position offers a competitive salary of $50,000–$65,000 per year, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a student debt benefit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification.
• Applicable state license where required.
• Minimum one year of experience as an Athletic Trainer.
• CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits.
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs.
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury.
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees.
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics.
