Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Ohio is seeking an Injection Machine operator to produce quality ceramic cores. You will prepare dies, obtain materials, and inject parts following procedures.

You will follow procedures, maintain records, perform routine maintenance, monitor materials, assist engineers and quality, and adhere to safety rules. This role requires teamwork, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Able to lift 35 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Detail oriented and well organized, with precise documentation.
  • Team oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures to manufacture ceramic cores on Injection Machines.
  • Produce quantities within standards and maintain records (routers, CQCS).
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor material levels and replace as needed.
  • Assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Job description

Position Summary:

Produce quality ceramic cores using Injection Machines. Prepare dies, obtain materials and inject part according to procedure.

Essential Functions:
  • Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Injection Machines.
  • Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc)
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Monitor material levels and replace as needed
  • Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
  • Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision
Required Skills:

Experience & Education:

Compensation and Benefits:

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18 to $18 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
