Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Ceramic Core Injection Operator- Level 1-3 for 1st shift (6am-2pm, Monday-Friday). You will produce quality ceramic cores using Injection Machines, prepare dies, obtain materials and inject parts per procedure.

Responsibilities include following procedures, maintaining records, performing machine maintenance, and assisting engineers and QA. Safety and 6S discipline are essential.

Qualifications

  • Basic math skills required.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend procedures.
  • Mold or plastic injection experience preferred.

Job Profile

Ceramic Core Injection Operator- Level 1-3

Position Summary

Produce quality ceramic cores using Injection Machines. Prepare dies, obtain materials and inject part according to procedure.

Essential Functions
  • Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Injection Machines.
  • Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc)
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Monitor material levels and replace as needed
  • Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
  • Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision

Pay Range

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18 to $18 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.

Benefits
  • Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year.
