Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is hiring an Injection Operator for the Hazleton, PA facility. You will manage the setup, operation, and basic adjustments of PET and HDPE injection equipment, ensuring safety and quality. The role requires attention to logs, safety rules, and teamwork across production teams.

We value reliability and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred Associate’s degree, and prior manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.
• Experience in a production/shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, start and run injection equipment.
• Perform minor adjustments to injection equipment with approval.
• Complete and log daily inspection and quality forms.
• Follow plant safety rules and use PPE.
• Conduct visual and mechanical quality checks on production.
• Maintain general housekeeping in production areas.
• Identify resin types and parts safe for grinding.
• Fill inspection sheets and report defects.
• Work in multiple areas with minimal supervision; cover relief duties.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues with maintenance as needed.
• Understand computer systems: Shotscope, Electirc80, Ignition.
• Understand line flow to maximize throughput.
• Communicate issues clearly and concisely.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
• Duties may change with notice.
