Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking an Injection Operator to manage day-to-day operations of PET and HDPE injection equipment and associated systems. You will perform setup, run operations, log data, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, maintain logs, and troubleshoot minor equipment issues in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 2 years of experience in the position.
• Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, start and run injection equipment.
• Make minor adjustments to injection equipment as directed.
• Complete and log daily forms such as injection preform/cap logs and destruction logs.
• Follow plant safety rules and use PPE.
• Perform visual and mechanical quality checks to ensure production meets standards.
• Maintain general housekeeping in all production areas.
• Identify resin types (V-PET, RPET, HDPE).
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
• Understand line flow and maximize throughput.
• Communicate issues clearly and concisely.
• Work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
