Link Staffing is seeking an experienced Process Technician to support production in a fast-paced plastics environment. The role focuses on optimizing molding processes, reducing downtime, and ensuring product quality through hands-on troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include starting up and adjusting injection molding machines, conducting mold changes, coordinating with quality and maintenance, maintaining records, and following safety practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Process Technician in an injection molding manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of plastic resins, molding processes, and process optimization.
• Experience troubleshooting molding defects such as flash, short shots, sink, warpage, burns, and splay.
• Ability to perform mold changeovers and process startups.
• Comfortable reading process documentation and following manufacturing procedures.
• Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
