Role Description

The Injection Molding Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dixon, KY. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring injection molding machines to ensure efficient, high-quality production. Typical tasks include performing mold changes, adjusting processing parameters, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and maintaining clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and quality standards. The technician will inspect parts for quality, document production data, collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules, and assist with basic maintenance and mold repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing processes and injection molding operations; ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Knowledge of clean rooms or controlled environments, with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and safety standards during production.
• Strong quality control skills, including visual inspection, use of measuring tools, and adherence to quality procedures.
• Troubleshooting abilities for addressing machine, mold, or process issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Effective communication skills for working with supervisors, maintenance, and production team members.
• Previous experience in plastics manufacturing or injection molding preferred; familiarity with basic mechanical tools and equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in plastics or manufacturing is a plus.
