Job summary
Ambrit Engineering - USA is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our plastic injection molding operation in California. You will supervise production workers, coordinate shift activities, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery while optimizing machine run rates.
The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, familiarity with IQMS MES, and collaboration with maintenance and quality teams. Experience leading teams on precision medical, aerospace, automotive, electronics parts is preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience as shift supervisor in a plastic injection molding facility.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and maintain safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise production workers and coordinate shift operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Review daily schedules and direct team priorities to meet production goals.
- Coordinate maintenance and tooling activities to support the schedule.
- Log downtime, scrap and line issues; communicate shift handoffs.
