Job summary

You will set molds, fixtures, start mold machines, welders, and assist with secondary equipment while maintaining records. You will learn and apply QS 9000 and TS 16949 standards as they relate to IMOD processes and production activities, requiring strong mechanical skills and

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED; two-year degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred or five years experience.
• Pass required company skill level testing.
• Use of basic math and measuring instruments; interpret drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Learn blow molding/injection process; operate robot and automation equipment.
• Must be mechanically inclined; work with electronics and hydraulics.
• Follow written and verbal instructions; collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds and secondary fixtures; start mold machines, welders, and secondary fixtures.
• Operate robots and CNC auxiliary equipment; input job data into presses.
• Store and document molds and fixtures; maintain records; perform minor preventative maintenance.
• Learn hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls relevant to the IMOD process.
• Adhere to QS 9000 and TS 16949 standards in production activities.
