We are seeking an experienced and driven Injection Molding Production Supervisor to lead production operations within our Injection Molding department. This role is responsible for overseeing production performance, personnel management, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance while ensuring targets for quality, cost, and delivery are achieved.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on manufacturing leader with strong problem‑solving abilities, team leadership experience, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast‑paced automotive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance for assigned Autonomous Production Groups (GAPs)
Establish production targets, implement action plans, monitor daily results, and adjust resources to meet operational goals
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through collaboration with Production Supervisors, UAP Managers, and support teams
Lead problem‑solving activities and continuous improvement workshops including 5S, TPM, Hoshin, and lean manufacturing initiatives
Manage daily personnel and performance issues within assigned production teams
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and compliance with standardized work methods
Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to support employees and resolve operational issues
Support employee development through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with IATF standards and environmental management systems (ISO 14001)
Enforce all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
Maintain compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and safety regulations
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve communication, productivity, and operational performance
Exercise authority to stop production when products do not meet customer quality requirements
Qualifications
Associate degree with specialization in Production required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment required
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
Prior experience in injection molding manufacturing strongly preferred
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Experience with eTime systems is a plus
Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
