Configure is a family-owned plastic injection molding company seeking an Injection Molding Technician to operate and optimize molding processes. The role focuses on launching molds, reducing cycle times, training teammates, and implementing uptime improvements to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Ability to multitask and lift heavy boxes regularly.
• Wittmann Robot experience is a plus.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficiency to the approved standard.
• Experience in setting up and launching first piece production.
• Knowledge of different resins and their performance under various process parameters.
• Processing experience with both open and closed loop systems.
• Basic understanding of mold construction and material function.
• Maintain work area and equipment; keep it clean and organized.
• Communicate with previous shift to receive important job information.
• Communicate with supervisors when issues arise.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
