Pro Resources is seeking a 2nd Shift Process Technician for a client in Elkhart, IN. The Process Technician installs, maintains, and repairs maintenance systems, machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments. Apply today!

Shift and Compensation

• 2nd Shift
• Compensation ranges from $52,000 to $62,400 USD

Job Duties

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
• Has experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Experience working on Van Dorn, Cincinnati, and HPM injection mold machines.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structures of the establishment and grounds.
• Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, following safety procedures and PPE guidelines.

Background Profile

• Minimum 5 years of injection mold machine experience required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting industrial motors, starters, controls, and panels.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and scissor lift, and be certified.
