Job summary

Actalent in Congers, NY is seeking a hands-on Process Technician to support injection molding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform mold setups, startups, and changeovers, monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and partner with maintenance, quality, and engineering to maintain high quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of injection molding experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of injection molding experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with mold installation, removal, machine setup, and process adjustments.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related production issues.
• Experience working with injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setups, startups, and changeovers for injection molding machines.
• Monitor molding processes and adjust settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot molding, equipment, and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Support maintenance and repair of molding machines, molds, and peripheral equipment.
• Read blueprints and maintain process records; ensure quality compliance.
