Job summary

AptarGroup, Inc. is seeking a Molding Process Technician for weekend shifts in Congers, NY. You will install, adjust, and troubleshoot injection molding equipment and set up molds for changes.

This role requires strong mechanical skills, blueprints reading, and the ability to work safely in a clean room environment. You will perform maintenance, document issues, and help ensure product quality while following ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with injection molding equipment including machine adjustment and mold installation/removal.
• Familiarity with automation 6/3 robotics and general plastics knowledge.
• Detail oriented with good math and measurement abilities.
• Able to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work different shifts and maintain clean room practices.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove and adjust injection molding machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot molding machines and resolve process failures.
• Set up molds for all mold changes and assist maintenance.
• Train employees on procedures and document issues.
• Maintain records and ensure product quality and compliance.
• Support safety, ISO standards and scrap reduction efforts.
