Job summary

Freudenberg Medical LLC in Baldwin Park, CA seeks an experienced injection molding technician to set up, troubleshoot, and optimize molding processes, ensuring safe, efficient and repeatable production.

You will work with process engineering, tooling, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve defects such as flash, short shots, burns, and dimensional variation, while supporting mold trials and process transfers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RJG Master Molder I certification.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Injection molding process for thermoplastics.
• Knowledge of Scientific Process Development Principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
• Preferred: 2-year degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in Cleanroom environment.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding processes.
• Identify and resolve molding defects and ensure process stability.
• Support mold trials, process development, and production start-ups.
• Collaborate with production teams, tooling, maintenance, engineering, and quality.
• Work to improve safety, efficiency, and repeatable production.
