Responsibilities include setting up and monitoring molds, optimizing cycle times, programming robots, and completing ERP documentation. Strong knowledge of molding equipment and tooling is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in molding
• LSR/Medical molding experience preferred
• Knowledge of process troubleshooting using scientific molding methods
• Knowledge of injection molding machinery, control systems (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic)
• Advanced knowledge of auxiliary equipment (mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots)
• Mold set up and use of standard tools and methods
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic core pull systems/safety limits
• Advanced knowledge of hot runner/valve gate systems
• Reading blueprints and part drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

• Set up, start up, and monitor injection molds and auxiliary equipment
• Improve cycle times and machine optimization
• Program robots
• Create maintenance work orders for equipment issues
• Complete required ERP documentation
