Job summary

Century Mold in Shelbyville, TN is seeking a Process Set-Up Technician to support molding operations. You will set up and changeover molding equipment, install and remove molds, and adjust process parameters to meet production targets.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED or 3–5 years related experience; proficiency with MS Office and MS Project is helpful. We offer a competitive salary, 401(k) matching, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with MS Project; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeover machinery and equipment according to production priorities.
• Install and remove molds in injection presses; set process parameters and alarms.
• Connect water, hydraulic and air lines and verify mold protection switches.
• Install/remove peripheral equipment and ensure materials are staged for work.
• Coordinate with QA, Engineering and Tool Room to ensure production of quality parts.
• Start presses and document process changes on the PROCESS NOTICE sheet.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and assist operators as needed.
