Job summary

The role requires a BS in Plastics Engineering with 3+ years in plastics processing and 2+ years in injection molding; CAD skills and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering is required.
• 3+ years in plastics processing (molding or extrusion).
• 2+ years injection molding process and tooling experience.
• Experience designing and conducting engineering trials and writing reports.
• Ability to plan activities, work independently and meet schedules.
• Trained in CAD.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality guidelines and SOPs to meet customer requirements and standards.
• Participate in material selection, molded part design reviews, and equipment selection.
• Conduct mold flow analysis to support tooling design.
• Operate injection molding equipment for setups, trials, process development, and troubleshooting.
• Document IQ/OQ/PQ activities and write process validation reports.
• Lead limited scope process development or continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate and schedule process activities across teams.
• Produce work instructions and train Production personnel.
• Support projects and customer communications.
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain regular attendance.
