DECKED, LLC in Defiance, OH is seeking a Molding Operator to manage injection molding machines and assemble components to meet stringent quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with injection molding machine operation and assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Proficient with hand tools and small power tools for assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks, combining molded components and other parts to create finished products.
• Utilize hand tools, fixtures, and equipment to assemble parts accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct visual and functional checks of assembled products to ensure quality.
• Identify and report defects or deviations from specifications during the assembly process.
• Follow SOPs and quality control guidelines to ensure consistent product quality.
• Inspect finished products to verify compliance with DECKED's specifications.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives with feedback.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
• Communicate effectively to report issues during the production process.
