Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, safety rules, quality specs, production schedules, and equipment procedures.
• Basic math skills and accurate recording of production, scrap, and quality data.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn molding equipment and controls.
• Ability to perform material and product changeovers and ensure correct resin/color.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to PPE, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and safety requirements.

Aufgaben

• Safely start, stop, set up, and operate injection molding machines and crane as per procedures.
• Monitor resin/colorant feed and coordinate changes with production scheduling.
• Ensure product quality and report out-of-spec or deviations.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and adjust machines within approved parameters.
• Handle scrap, perform tests on preforms, and document results.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report hazards.
• Complete required reports on production, scrap, quality, and maintenance.
• Participate in training, safety meetings, and shift handoffs.
