Job summary

Vision Plastics is seeking a Machine Operator to operate an injection molding machine and produce quality molded parts. You will follow Production Operating Instructions, run to cycle times, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

The role includes packaging, labeling, and documenting rejects in the RT system while coordinating with the team to maintain smooth production flow. Training starts day one with a dedicated trainer and continues with coaching to develop skills for a long-term career

Qualifications

Must be able to read, understand and verbally communicate work instructions.
Must be able to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Must possess basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
Must be able to manually cycle machine by opening and closing gate.

Responsibilities

Operate injection molding machine to produce quality molded parts.
Run machine at required cycle time.
Monitor machine and report malfunctions to supervisor.
Verify parts meet quality standards and document rejects in RT system.
Process parts per POI, including trimming, sanding, cutting, assembling, boxing, and packaging.
Maintain accurate part counts and document lot numbers.
Fill out work orders and labels accurately and legibly.
