Job summary

HuFriedyGroup in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Injection Molding Operator to support production of molded components on our injection molding lines. You will visually inspect parts, stage them per standard work, and assist with material handling.

You will perform basic quality checks, document production activity, and help ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines. The role requires clear English communication, safety awareness, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Safety knowledge and ability to share information across shifts.
• Basic math for weight calculations and cycle counting.
• Good attendance and availability for Saturdays/extended hours.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to read gauges (micrometer, depth gauge, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect components on injection molding machines and stage per standard work.
• Fulfills material handling duties.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs, weighs and mixes resin-based materials.
• Generates and maintains production paperwork per schedule and supervisor directions.
• Performs line startup/shutdown and line clearance.
• Conducts basic quality inspections of molded components.
• Adheres to ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines for product quality.
• Follows safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintains mold machine operation within compliance.
• Notifies personnel of equipment or system issues.
• Supports Lean initiatives including 5S.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
