This leadership role oversees production and technical operations for a team of about 175 employees, driving safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement across the molding operation. You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning and Maintenance, optimize capacity and changeovers, and lead lean initiatives and capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering Technology or related field.
• Strong injection molding process knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of thermoplastics, tooling and DFm (design for manufacturability).
• Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment with Lean principles.

Hayward is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Manager to lead a high-volume, manufacturing operation supporting multiple production lines and cross-functional teams. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production and technical operations, leading a team of approximately 175 employees, and driving performance in safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement across the molding operation. Located in Clemmons, NC.

What You'll Do

• Lead all injection molding operations across a three-shift manufacturing environment.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery performance.
• Manage production and technical teams while developing leadership across the organization.
• Optimize capacity, equipment utilization, mold changeovers, and production planning.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, scrap reduction, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance to support operational excellence and new product launches.
• Support capital projects, automation initiatives, and equipment upgrades.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering Technology or related technical field.
• Strong injection molding process knowledge, troubleshooting, and process development experience.
• Understanding of thermoplastic materials, tooling, and design for manufacturability.
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, ERP, and MES systems.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
