Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing is seeking Injection Molding Set Up Operators for the 3rd shift. You will set up molds, start machines, and ensure parts meet specifications while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities include mold maintenance, repairs, and keeping the production area clean. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds for injection molding machines, weighing up to 17,000 lbs, using hoists.
• Start up molds to meet part specifications from startup sheets.
• Perform mold repairs and troubleshoot on machines as needed.
• Clean molds at each change and clean equipment after shifts.
• Maintain tools and workspace in a safe, orderly condition.
• Assist with lifting up to 50 lbs; seek help for heavier lifts.
• Adhere to attendance, overtime, and management directions.

Sets up, changes, and processes molds for injection molding machines.

Responsibilities

Sets up molds that weigh up to 17,000 lbs. using 7 1/2 or 10 ton hoist into injection molding machines in a safe manner.Starts up molds to meet all parts specifications including appearance from start up sheets.Does some repairs on molds as well as troubleshooting on the other machines.Cleans molds at each change and cleans assigned machines at the end of shift.Responsible for taking care of tools.Any lifting over 50 lbs. requires assistance.*Maintains regular attendance.*Ability to work mandatory over time.Performs other duties as requested by Management.Responsible for producing a high quality product.Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.Equal Opportunity Employer.*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.
