Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company in North Carolina is seeking experienced Injection Molding Set Up Operators for 3rd shift to join our high-performing team. This role sets up molds, runs tests, and ensures parts meet specifications in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding equipment preferred.
• Able to perform manual lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Strong attention to safety, hygiene and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Sets up molds that weigh up to 17,000 lbs. using 7 1/2 or 10 ton hoist into injection molding machines in a safe manner.
• Starts up molds to meet all parts specifications including appearance from start up sheets.
• Does some repairs on molds as well as troubleshooting on the other machines.
• Cleans molds at each change and cleans assigned machines at the end of shift.
• Responsible for taking care of tools. Any lifting over 50 lbs. requires assistance.
• Maintains regular attendance. Ability to work mandatory over time.
• Performs other duties as requested by Management.
• Responsible for producing a high quality product. Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.
