Job summary

Employment Group seeks an experienced Mold Setter/Setup Technician in Marshall, MI. The role requires hands-on injection moulding setup experience, including mould changes, machine setup, and production startup activities.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, changeovers, continuous improvement, and inspections. The position is contract to hire with overtime as needed and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of injection moulding setup experience.
• Mould changes, machine setups, startups, and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus.
• Detail-oriented with reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% safety and quality compliance, audit safety features.
• Assist with mould setups, changeovers and setup reduction.
• Support continuous improvement and process enhancements.
• Perform first- and last-piece inspections against master samples.
• Maintain equipment in safe condition and minimise downtime.
• Track preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain setup sheets and BOMs for each mould.
• Assist in production scheduling and workflow coordination.
