Job summary

Mann in Portage, MI is seeking an Injection Molding Technician for the 2nd shift to support high-volume molding operations. You will set molds on 500–1500 ton machines, hook up tooling, program robots, and perform routine changeovers while ensuring quality and safety.

Strong mechanical aptitude and 1+ year experience with injection molding are preferred; training will align with 5S housekeeping and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, vocational training preferred.
• 1+ year experience with injection molding machine setup and processing.
• Technical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Change molds on 500 to 1500 ton injection molding machines.
• Ensure proper electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic hook up for tools.
• Change robot end of arm tools and program pick-and-place robots.
• Document machine settings and changes.
• Maintain line 5S housekeeping and quality during startup.
