Job summary

Kreate, a family-owned plastics company in Findlay, OH, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to service injection molding machinery and related equipment. You will be a key contributor to uptime, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and supporting facility systems and utilities.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work with production teams to prioritize repairs and improvements. Nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for injection molding equipment and ancillary systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and address repetitive disturbances to minimize machine and production disruptions.
• Perform adjustments, tuning activities, and machine startups to maintain production efficiency.
• Execute corrective and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, chillers, air compressors, and other equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems and conduits.
• Conduct general facility maintenance, repairs, and installations as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas for safety and organization.
• Collaborate with production teams and leadership to set maintenance priorities.
• Perform equipment inspections and recommend reliability improvements.
• Participate in training and stay updated with industry best practices.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs for record-keeping.
• Adhere to safety policies and manufacturing best practices.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
