Job summary

WMFHA in Thomson, GA is seeking an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician with 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding presses and related equipment.

The role requires strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills, ability to read schematics, and experience with preventive maintenance. It is a full-time, day-shift, on-site position with occasional on-call support.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Direct experience maintaining and repairing injection molding presses.

• Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Strong preventive maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently while supporting production teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding presses.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Repair sensors, drives, wiring, control panels, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and manifolds.
• Maintain auxiliary equipment including dryers, thermolators, chillers, loaders, conveyors, granulators, and hot runner systems.
• Support mold changes and verify machine connections during setup.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and monitor parts inventory.
• Respond to occasional emergency equipment breakdowns.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding presses
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues

• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout

What We’re Looking For

• Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience

Preferred Experience

• Milacron injection molding equipment
• Mosaic or Cemac 486 control systems
• PLC troubleshooting; programming experience is a plus
• Robotics and industrial automation
• Hot runner, chiller, and cooling systems
• Vocational, technical, or industrial maintenance training
