Job summary

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Greer, SC is seeking direct hire Maintenance Technicians to join their team. This role focuses on maintenance of mold presses and related equipment, with a night shift schedule and full benefits.

Candidate should have 3+ years in automation in manufacturing, PLC programming knowledge, and experience with electrical/hydraulic systems to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

Maintenance Technician (Injection Molding Troubleshooting)

Direct Hire Maintenance Technician Job Summary

• $33/hourly +
• Direct Hire
• Night shift: 7:45 pm – 8:00 am (3/2/2/3)
• Full Benefits/Vacation/Holiday Pay (Benefits Eligibility on 1st Day of Employment) 401K: up to 6% Match
• Performs maintenance on all manufacturing and facility equipment, such as mold presses, auxiliary equipment, and miscellaneous plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical problems on equipment.
• Ensure all machinery, equipment, building structures and facilities are maintained and functioning properly.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years’ experience in Automation in a manufacturing environment, responsible for sophisticated manufacturing and automation equipment
• Mold presses and auxiliary equipment
• Injection machine troubleshooting
• Detailed knowledge in PLC programming and electrical controls
• Thorough familiarity with hydraulic function of manufacturing equipment
• Thorough familiarity with Electrical/Electronic components of manufacturing equipment
