Job summary

Waters is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at our Hunt Valley, MD facility. You will perform setup, operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring production uptime and quality.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills, ability to read schematics, and hands-on problem solving. Compliance with GMP and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Production are essential.

Qualifications

• Time management skills required to ensure all tasks are completed without delay.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to work with various teams.
• Mechanical, pneumatic and electrical skills, must analyze, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine setup, operation, minor and major routine maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment.
• Supports installation and removal of equipment, and performance of required corrective maintenance.
• Monitors production lines and evaluates equipment performance for repairs and continuous improvement.
• Assists with root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions.
• Ensures accurate documentation of quality, safety and maintenance records.
