Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Injection Molding for a direct placement in Rochester, NY. The role focuses on maintaining equipment performance, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and minimizing downtime on 3rd shift.

You will train on 1st shift temporarily and perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety-compliant operations with PPE. A strong teamwork mindset and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical ability and skill set.
• Self-motivated with own tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Trade school, apprenticeship, or technical associate degree.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems and robots.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and facility equipment.
• Perform repairs efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety rules and consistently wear proper PPE.
• Maintain regular attendance during scheduled work hours.
