Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume injection-molding facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on injection molding machines and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and a journeyman card, with at least two years of manufacturing experience and a solid understanding of electro-hydraulic/mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from limited options.
• 2+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Basic understanding of Electrical, Hydraulic and Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and monitor Apprentices.
• Correct safety issues involving equipment and facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, paint lines, and process water systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for equipment repairs.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment.
