Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech in Wisconsin. This direct-hire role covers maintenance of injection molding equipment, electrical and hydraulic systems, and automated machinery.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and service a range of production assets while coordinating with operators and leads to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance or repair, know injection molding, and are comfortable with PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, and automation concepts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance or repair experience including previous experience in Mechatronics, Electronics, or a Mechanical field.
• Understand electrical & hydraulic prints.
• Injection molding knowledge and molding machine repair.
• Some automation experience.
• PLC knowledge.
• Understanding switches & sensors.
• Understanding of pneumatics.
• Keyence cameras is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for repairs and maintenance of Injection Molding
• Manual and automated assembly equipment
• Building/facilities maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with a variety of equipment
• Order necessary supplies
• Interface with operators, technicians and lead people in the troubleshooting and repair process
• Report problems requiring outside assistance to supervisor
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Other duties as assigned by supervision
