Job summary

Greif is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to ensure reliable operation of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and interpret manuals and diagrams.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with limited supervision while upholding safety policies and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
• Experience with injection molding machines is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication skills, with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and repairs as needed.
• Reads manuals, diagrams, sketches, and specs to perform required maintenance and service.
• Adheres to all plant safety policies and Lean Manufacturing programs.
