Job summary

ITW Seat Components in Minnesota is seeking a Machine Operator to follow written work instructions and operate molding and assembly equipment to produce plastic components for automotive applications.

You will load, start up, monitor machines, perform quality checks, handle materials, document outcomes, and communicate issues across shifts while adhering to ISO 9001, OSHA, and IATF 16949 standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience; plastic injection molding a plus.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to stand for a full shift.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally.
• Team oriented with good attitude and communication.

Responsibilities

• Load, start up, and operate molding and assembly machines as instructed.
• Perform color changes and material handling.
• Conduct visual and functional quality inspections at intervals.
• Gage parts to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Label, palletize, and transfer products to next operation.
• Maintain accurate production documentation.
• Communicate shifts to meet production targets and safety commitments.
• Report machine or quality issues to supervisor; follow safety policies.
• Follow ISO 9001, OSHA and IATF 16949 procedures.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
