Job summary

ADB Safegate is seeking an Injection Molding Operator to keep molding lines running and producing quality parts in a fast-paced environment. You will operate the molding press, monitor part quality, perform start-up and shutdown, and help keep the work area safe and organized.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask and communicate effectively with team members across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.
• Technically oriented and knowledgeable in manufacturing systems.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient in computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding press.
• Monitor quality of parts produced; perform visual quality checks.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Perform start up and shut down of machinery.
• Keep area clean and safe throughout shift.
• Use scale to weigh bins/boxes.
• Maintain daily production requirements.
• Communicate with Shift Lead regarding issues.
• Proficient in applicable computer programs.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
