The position requires reading and interpreting safety rules and manuals, basic math, and good problem-solving. On-the-job training is provided, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' experience in plastics injection molding preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical skills: basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains equipment used in manufacturing process.
• Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment as required.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintains productivity in accordance with plant goals.
• Monitors own work area to ensure it is free of obstructions and hazards.
• Completes necessary paperwork.
• Complies with GMP and FDA regulations.
• Wears protective clothing as required.
• Follows SOPs and completes training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
