Job summary

Micron Solutions in Fitchburg, MA is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot injection molding presses and molding support equipment on the shop floor.

You will work with process techs, production and engineering to improve uptime, safety and efficiency while supporting preventive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years direct maintenance in injection molding.
Experience troubleshooting injection molding presses and molding auxiliary equipment.
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read electrical drawings, mechanical schematics, and technical documentation.
Experience with robots, dryers, chillers, thermolators, and conveying systems.
Independent worker in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair injection molding equipment to maximize uptime.
Troubleshoot presses and auxiliary molding equipment.
Respond to breakdowns with rapid issue resolution.
Support press uptime, reliability, and production performance.
Assist with equipment installations and process improvements.
