Job summary

Micron Solutions is seeking a 2nd Shift Injection Molding Process Technician in Fitchburg, MA to set up and troubleshoot injection molding machines, perform mold changes, and monitor production. You will also work with robotics and automated equipment to keep manufacturing lines running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with injection molding and are comfortable resolving machine alarms and process issues while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with injection molding equipment.
• Ability to perform mold changes and job changeovers.
• Follows safety and manufacturing procedures.
• Comfortable working with robotics and automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
• Perform mold and job changeovers.
• Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment.
• Respond to machine alarms and processing issues.
• Make process adjustments within established parameters.
• Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stability.
• Troubleshoot basic robotics and automation issues.
• Complete required production and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
• Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
